The idea to put into practice.

An answer may mix fact, interpretation and missing information. A due date may be recorded while the reason behind it is not. An interpretation should not become a promise without confirmation.

Open source records and check versions, dates and authority. Investigate conflicts with an approved brief instead of trusting the most confident wording.

Ask for uncertainty when the sources do not settle a question. Missing facts are a reason to ask the right person, not an invitation to invent.

A useful way to approach it

  1. Find sources for important claims.
  2. Check authority and current versions.
  3. Separate inference from fact.
  4. Resolve contradictions.

Try it with fictional work.

A summary promises Friday launch. A task is due Friday, but design is unapproved. Explain the evidence missing from that promise.
