A Bonsai alternative for growing agencies
Bonsai is a business suite for freelancers and small agencies. Proposals, contracts with e-signature, invoicing, time tracking, a client portal and project tools sit together, and many freelancers use it to run the business side of their work.
When a freelance practice turns into a team, the shape of the work changes: more people on each client, more conversations, more handovers. Tamaam keeps the commercial flow and builds the workspace around the team and the client together.

Where Bonsai is a strong choice
Bonsai is designed to take a freelancer from proposal to contract to invoice with as little friction as possible. Contract templates, recurring invoices, payment reminders and time tracked straight onto invoices save real hours for an independent professional.
It also covers parts of the business that Tamaam does not set out to cover, such as expense tracking and tax estimates for freelancers.
Where agencies feel the gap
Tools that start with the freelancer tend to treat the team as an addition. An agency needs client email shared and owned, delivery planned across several people, workload visible across projects and the client's history in one place for whoever picks up the work next.
- Several people working the same client and project
- Client conversations owned and handed over
- Workload and capacity across the team
- One page that answers how a client is doing
How Tamaam is different
Tamaam's Documents hold proposals and agreements with signatures, Forms turn intake answers into work, and Finance holds invoices, time and profitability. Around them sit the modules a team needs: leads and deals, clients and contacts, projects with milestones, tasks in five views, a calendar with booking pages and a shared inbox.
Everything is a record linked to the others, so a name on one page opens the record it names. Nefer reads across those records, notices what needs you and prepares the next step with its sources shown. Nothing reaches a client or touches your money until a person approves it.
Clients see their work in a client portal, and guests and clients are free.
When Bonsai is the better choice
Choose Bonsai if you work alone, your main need is contracts, invoices and getting paid, and you value its freelancer tools such as expenses and tax estimates.
Choose Tamaam if you are building a team, if client conversations need owners, or if you want the delivery and the money of each client on one page.
What a growing team gets on each plan
Every plan includes every module: clients, leads, deals, projects, tasks, documents, forms, the calendar with booking, finance and the inbox, with your team invited, roles, assigning work and mentions. Starter suits freelancers and small teams starting out, with one mailbox, five signed documents a month, one booking page and three live forms.
Pro is for a team that works together: no Tamaam branding where clients look, signatures, booking pages and forms without limit, handovers, shared inboxes and rooms, and the team's calendars with Find a time. Agency, from five members, adds reports across the business, profitability and forecasts by client and project, capacity ahead with Nefer's suggestions to rebalance, approvals by your own rules and a guided move from your current tools.
Moving from Bonsai
Bring active clients and their contacts first, then open projects. Rebuild your most used proposal and contract as templates in Documents, and keep past invoices in Bonsai for reference until your team works in Tamaam daily.
