Choose a workspace copy or a module export and check exactly what the file contains.

Open the workspace export

Open Settings → Import and export. Under Take a copy out, read The whole workspace description before choosing Export. The described JSON file includes clients, contacts, leads, deals, projects, tasks, conversations and members.

Use a focused export when appropriate

Use a module’s Export action for its supported data format. Finance exports and Forms response CSVs are specific to their view and workflow. Check filters, dates and selected columns before downloading.

Inspect the downloaded file

Open the result in a suitable viewer and verify the expected records and fields. A workspace data file is not automatically a complete archive of every attachment, document, settings value or external service.

Keep the copy controlled

Exports can contain client and teammate information. Store and share the file only with the people who need it. If data is missing, identify the module and view used, then ask support about the specific export rather than repeatedly sharing the full file.
