Comments, activity and files
Use discussion for team context, activity for recorded changes and files for supporting material.

Add a contextual note
Open the record’s discussion, comments or internal-note composer. Write the decision or question and mention the responsible teammate when appropriate. Post it to the intended record so the conversation stays with the work.

Read what changed
Expand Activity or Timeline to inspect recorded changes and related events. Check the date and source before inferring what happened. A draft, a stage change and a client reply describe different events.
Inspect supporting files
Open Files or the relevant file attachment to read its supporting material. Check the filename, version and owning record. For commercial terms, follow the actual linked document rather than treating an old attachment as the latest agreement.
Choose the right communication surface
An internal note supports the team’s work. A client message belongs in its client-facing composer or document workflow. Review recipients and the intended audience before sharing material outside the team.
